We were just informed that our landlord is selling our condo. It is going on the market tomorrow.

I can not tell you how upset I am.

We have to move when our lease is up at the end of July.

This will be the 3rd move in 4 summers.


We had wanted to stay for a few years and save up some money.


Not sure if we will be using friends to help us move this time as I have already called on them twice in the past 3 years. Getting help from over 20 people last summer was special and I thank you all again.

I just wanted to give you all the heads-up since this will suddenly send our lives into unexpected turmoil and somewhat wreck our summer.


If I seem at all moody in the next few months, I want to give a preemptive apology.

I know it sucks that you have to move again, but given all of the horrible things out there that could drastically effect your life, it's not the worst thing in the world. (Plagues, poxes, war, divorce, death, gremlins invading your home, the world ending.....need I go on?)

I'm right there with ya...Our new landlord is selling the building (our old landlord sold the building out from under us as well). However, it may seem like an unreachable dream, but might you look into buying a condo? Obviously not right in Boston you'd have to sell organs to make that kind of money, but if you have good credit which I would guess you do, you are probably closer to being able to buy than you think. I mean really, even me with my crappy credit is able to buy a house.

Oh and with enough notice, I can help with the moving (and you haven't even used my services yet).

Our downstairs tenants are moving out. The apartment is nice (recently renovated), the rent is reasonable, and your upstairs neighbors are fucking awesome! Any interest in living on the Medford/Somerville townline, right by Tufts?
