Any advice when hiring a photographer for a wedding?
How much do they run?

I have a whole list of folks whose websites you can poke through if you want.

We selected by finding a slew of photographers in our range based on their pricing. First, we narrowed down based on how much I liked their style. Then, we narrowed it down to 3 or 4 just because our date was popular and not everybody was available. From there, we met those in person to see their work up close.

What we found was that there were some differences that we didn't see until we saw the prints in person. The photographers who shoot digital either use a 10mp camera or a 12mp camera, and the 12mp is really superior for prints, but the 10mp's far from bad. Some were more personable than others. Some had better composition skills. And they usually have different pricing packages.
