What are the top "Epic Songs" of your life?

How does one define Epic? My definition is possibly different from some others. I tend to think of a song that is longer than the average song, one that evokes some emotional response inside, one that you find that you MUST focus on when it comes on, and one that often requires you to shut off your radio afterwards. I have to shut off my radio after the song so I can process it and because there just is NO good segway into any other song. I need time to absorb.

So with that in mind, here are my top 10 (and three honorable mentions)

1 - Troy, by Sinead O'Connor. (Best played in a dark room with candles.)
2 - Under Pressure, by Queen with David Bowie. (Best stock-footage video ever)
3 - Swamp Thing, by The Chameleons UK. (Takes you on a journey and helps deal with problems)
4 - Ulysses, by Dead Can Dance. (My intro to Dead Can Dance. I became hooked.)
5 - Feel So Different, by Sinead O'Connor. (Helps with anger at past friends.)
6 - 1812 Overture, by Tchaikovsky. (Full version is awesome and historical.)
7 - Kashmir, by Led Zeppelin. (I'm not a Zeppelin fan, but I really like this song.)
8 - How Soon is Now, by The Smiths. (My theme song in late teens and very early 20's)
9 - Uncertain Smile, by The The (Takes me to mellow place.)
10 - Stairway to Heaven, by Led Zeppelin (Although it has been so horribly over-played for decades that I now turn it off.)

Honorable Mention:

In the End, by Linkin Park. (Too short to make the list, but still amazing.)
How Fortunate the Man With None, by Dead Can Dance. (Philosophy and history makes you think.)
Tusk, by Fleetwood Mac. (Not really emotional, but air drumming a must.)

Oh, man. Tusk is one of those amazingly great songs that I always forget even exists. Every couple of years I dig out my Fleetwood Mac boxed set and play it repeatedly for a week.

Off-topic, but hey! I did not know until now that you had a LiveJournal account! Now I do.

Sad that it took the demise of a beloved sex toy for me to realize you have an LJ, but yay for asking a really interesting question.

I'm sure there are others I'll think of later, but on the way home from work tonight I heard Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmVAWKfJ4Go). It's not overly long, but it gives me chills every time I hear it.
